Breaking News: GAMBIA’S FIVE (5) STAR JOURNALIST PASSES AWAY

Alh. Kebba Dibba, one of Gambia’s most disciplined Journalists who has spent his entire career portraying the beautiful image of the tiny West African smiling- coast, has passed away at the age of 50.
Born in Sintet Village, Foni Jarrol, West Coast Region (WCR), Kebba Dibba’s career began in 1992 when he joined the Film Production Unit of the then Department of Information and Broadcasting. He has been working with the national broadcaster since it was established as the Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS).
Dibba obtained a Higher Diploma in Journalism at the Ghana Institute of Journalism in 1998. In 2007, he also obtained a Master’s Degree in International Journalism at the School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies at Cardiff University, United Kingdom.
He also served as the editor-in-chief of the Daily Observer Newspaper between 2000/01 and then MD of GRTS in 2014.
He was until his death, the Director of programming at the Gambia Radio and Television Services ( GRTS).
